One of the most frustrating things about communicating an event is often... managing different event calendars and event platforms. It's hard to believe, but in many cases tourism organisations, cultural institutions and other event organisers find it difficult to find optimal and up-to-date solutions, so they spend hours having to manually enter their events many times, often in different languages. To tackle this challenge, we are organising a professional's meeting on the 16th September in Lucern at which various Swiss providers and users of event platforms can meet and exchange ideas in order to find optimal and innovative solutions for the Swiss market. If you open today’s Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung you’ll find a wonderfully written article by Lilli Ann Vorbeck about my work as pianist and concert creator. I had the chance to talk with her about my ambivalent relationship with the term ‘concert design,’ which in my personal perception feels superficial at first sight. However, to me, it’s a crucial concept that challenges us as artists to question our work and to ask who we are and to explore the role of music in today’s world. The nucleus of all this is always the music which itself is already strong enough. Thus, it‘s a matter of contextualisation and that‘s what‘s all about. The article also touches on what classical music can be today: Describing my projects, from performing on broken instruments, to playing piano on busy streets in Congo, to creating grand moments in the Elbphilharmonie. Ultimately, it all comes back to one question: how can music create true encounters and connections? These are the questions that constantly drive me and inspire me in the development of new concert formats.

Hallo aus Dänemark! 👋 That's (one of the) headers in our newly launched campaign in Germany. Like everything else in life, experience and knowledge does rarely comes in linnear curves, but rather through a trial-and-error act reminding more of a roller coaster than the German autobahn. The key to success is therefor not to always be right, it's about the adaptability in terms of corrections along the way. Simply put, It's not about how you fall, but how you get back up.
